USS MISSOURI IN THE IRAQ GULF WAR
|
SKU: 060 30 min/color - This is the original US Navy documentary of the USS MISSOURI's historic involvement in Operation Desert Storm. This video was produced by the MISSOURI's own news crew stationed onboard the ship during the war. Much of this footage is rare, never-before-seen video. The video starts with the deployment of the USS MISSOURI from its home port of Long Beach, CA. It then chronicles the ship's entire, decisive involvement in the US war against Iraq. It shows many shots of actual live firings of its massive guns as well as the firing of Tomahawk missles. It also depicts life aboard ship and the day-to-day activities of the crew. It ends with the return of the MISSOURI to Long Beach and a hero's welcome!
